DIANA SPENCER
Diana Spencer, was born on 1 July 1961 in Norfolk. She married the Prince of Wales at St Paul's Cathedral in London on 29 July 1981.
During her marriage she undertook a wide range of royal dutie.
Family was very important to the Princess who had two children, Prince William and Prince Henry.
After her divorce the Princess continued to be considered a member of the Royal family.
Lady Diana died Sunday 31 August 1997.
The vehicle in which The Princess was travelling was involved in a high-speed accident shortly before midnight on Saturday 30 August.
The Princess was taken to the Hospital, where she underwent two hours of emergency surgery before being declared dead at 03.00, subsequently repatriated to the United Kingdom.
The Prince of Wales and the Princess' elder sister, accompanied the coffin on its return journey.
She is the first Princess to understand the importance of media exposure, and works to build a careful self-image; moreover, she was a woman who affirmed the goodness of the human soul, she was involved in projects aimed at helping people in need and countries living in poverty.
She is the image of kindness and sweetness, as many described her.
